finally arrived at bankok, i think the word different describes it best. the traffic is caotic and the blinkers seem to be for wussies. we're living at the royal hotel, and we are going to stay one more night. its like 40 degrees outside and like 10 in the hotel rooms. its impossible to go outside without having 3 thai ppl coming up to you trying to explain where you should go. in 99% of the cases they just want you to ride their tuk-tuk.
We went to the MBK shopping mall yesterday. that place is ENORMOUS (7 floors, 3houses). The amount of jet lag i had made it really exhausting to run around in the tiny shops. We ate at santa's. you know, the guy with the raindeers. i thought thailand was buddhist and some muslims.
will be nice to leave bankok tomorrow, everyone is in such a rush all the time.
