we left bankok yesterday. took a cab directly at the hotel (1800 baht=about 45 euro) to pattaya.
we live at apex hotel, one street away from the beach. the rooms are adequate and we are paying 250 baht per night and person.
we ate at the hard rock café before we left bankok. interresting to see how all the western people gather at one place.
pattaya is the "prostitution capital" of thailand. you cant look anywhere without seeing a whore, although you might not notice them at first. they look just like regular thai girls, just that they usually hang on the arm of some old western guy. gross.
today we spent most of the day on the beach, burning away our skins. RED. you'd think that the beach would be relaxing, but you'd be wrong. at least once a minute a salesman/woman walks up to you and wants you to buy something, and they wont take no for an answer. after the seventh time they ask, one tends to get pissed. yelling in swedish seems to work perfectly.
even if they look a bit offended.
